The Endless Beginning of a Long Traveler Who Wants to Win Back Their Heart

In life, there are many times when we must embark on a journey.
    Sometimes we travel with companions,
but more often, we journey alone.

The long journey you are about to take—
with teayii in this book—is no different.

This book collects the seasons of the heart,
    passing through various pains,
some from my own experiences, some shared by others.

    I only hope this book
makes your happiness feel more tangible,
and your suffering less like a thorn piercing your heart,
but more like a blanket offering warmth
    to your soul.

Perhaps some passages in this book
will help you reclaim your heart.
    And if not today,
may this be a source of strength for all travelers
to not give up and keep moving forward.

    The Hour of Despair

An essay documenting the healing journey between two friends—
one a friend seeking advice as he struggles with depression and past wounds,
and the other a friend offering guidance as a psychotherapist using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

    Depression is neither the beginning nor the end;
it’s a path we often travel, sometimes together, sometimes apart.

This book introduces readers to psychotherapy, emotional planning, and management
through scientific reasoning, helping build strategies to face the many challenges that may come someday.

Based on the real experiences of a person living with depression and his psychotherapist friend.

The Sky Is Never Too Dark to See the Stars

    Everyone
has faced dark moments in life—
    times when problems arise,
    times filled with sorrow,
    times when we doubt ourselves.

    In those moments,
what helps us get through are two things that seem opposite
    yet complete each other:
    “reason” and “faith.”

No matter how dark the sky,
there are always stars for us to see.
When the path feels bleak and uncertain,
deep inside, a light still guides us forward.

To Me…The One Who’s Always by My Side

At certain times of the day,
    at certain moments in life,
    we may feel utterly alone.

No one beside us, no one at all
to share our joys and sorrows.
All we can do is let those feelings
    echo silently within our hearts.

But even if they remain silent,
at least we have ourselves to listen,
    to stand by our side,
and to understand us best of all.

    No matter what happens,
no matter who leaves us behind,
    we must never abandon ourselves.

This book will be another companion
to stay with us, comfort us, guide us—
    helping us see our worth
and never lose our true selves.

To the Beautiful Heart That Was Forgotten

    To you…
the keeper of a beautiful heart, long forgotten.

It’s okay if today you still grieve over certain actions.
It’s okay if you cannot forgive yourself just yet.
It’s okay if your heart still holds on to its wounds all the time.

If one day you grow strong enough to leave everything behind,
don’t forget to comfort and forgive yourself too.
“You’ve been so brave through everything you’ve endured.”

We may have felt like we were sinking into a cold, deep ocean,
alone, as if people and the world have abandoned us.

No matter how deep we dive into the ocean,
if we still see the light of our own worth,
our soul and self will remain.

Because true love from just one person
is enough to keep our heart beating,
ready to swim and rise above the waves once more.

If “Once Upon a Time… To You” is like a seed destined to bloom and last forever,
then this book is the pollen of those flowers,
ready to soar and bloom wherever they choose.

And we will come to know that… even in the cold, dark depths,
whether just a flower growing by the wayside or anywhere else,
“We are always beautiful and loved somewhere.”

Want to Die but Can’t, Because the Enemies Aren’t All Dead Yet

“Why do humans live?” …is a cursed question.

    Once asked,
this question lingers in the mind for a lifetime—
sometimes fading, but never truly erased.

This book was written amidst a world divided into two:
    existence and nonexistence,
    death and life,
    awareness and unconsciousness.

It weaves the feelings of one person
who continues to question their own existence.

Wanting to die but unable to,
this thought often haunts the deepest corners of the mind.
Wanting to vanish, to erase oneself completely.

Yet in the end… death remains elusive.

We Each Are Someone’s Safe Place

Often, growth leaves us exhausted without even realizing it.
In those moments, all we need is a
    “safe space for our feelings,”
like a “home” where we can find refuge
    and truly be ourselves.

A home is more than just a building—
it’s a sanctuary, a collection of good memories,
    and an emotional place
waiting for someone to always come back.

Everyone has a home (in their heart),
    some have found it,
    while others are still searching.

Be both a good home where others can rest,
and a warm home for yourself, always.

    Whenever you feel weary,
this book will be like a “portable home,”
    a small refuge to rest,
and a healing place for every heart. 🙂

We Grow a Little Every Day

    We grow every single day.

This book offers reflections and perspectives gathered from different stages of life, divided into three parts: school years, university days, and working life. It invites readers to reflect on themselves and revisit their pasts. Each stage may reveal unique lessons, or perhaps lessons from the past can still be applied to life today.

Readers will discover insights, life lessons, and the small joys they may have experienced in each phase of life, while also reminiscing about past events, meaningful experiences, and the people who once shared their journey.

We’ll Meet Again When We Miss Each Other Enough

    Meeting someone again
can feel like a phenomenon worth waiting for…
We think it will be love,
but it turns out to be just a dream.

Though we say we expect nothing,
deep down, we still secretly hope for the best.

    If only making life decisions
were as easy as choosing to wait for their return.

  • What Was Lost Between Us

    What Was Lost Between Us

    Every joy we’ve lost
    has always taught us something.
And every sorrow that fades away
has always made space for a new beginning.

    Take a moment to reflect—
on yourself, and everything around you.
As we grow and move forward,
what might we have accidentally dropped along the way?

Perhaps it was a beautiful relationship.
    Perhaps, someone who once mattered.
Maybe it was a memory from childhood,
    or maybe, just maybe—
it was ourselves that we lost.

    So often, we focus only
on the things we’ve lost around us—
the things we think mattered most.
    And in doing so,
those losses become both our happiness
    and our sorrow—at once.

Sometimes, we carry those feelings for so long
    that we forget:
    we are the ones breaking,
    we are the ones fading,
if we keep failing to see
    our own worth.

    But no matter what—
the “us” we lost along the way
helped shape the person we are today.
Some things lost brought better things in return.
    And some losses…
led us back to parts of ourselves
    we never even knew existed.

    So ask again:
on this path of growing up,
what part of you might you have dropped along the way?
