I Wrote Amidst the Storm and Sent It to You on a Day with a Rainbow
No matter how heavy the rain falls,
I am always ready to open my umbrella for you—
always, and by always, I mean forever.I hope that today,
your sky is beautiful,
that you find the sky you love,
and that your sky
ends with the light
of millions of stars
woven across the night. -
It Will Get Better, Eventually
We all carry wounds along the path of growing up.
As time passes, if they don’t fade, they become important lessons. One day, they will heal.
A work by “Isaya,” the author of NASA Can’t Bring Her Back,
whose page has over 700,000 followers. At some point in life,
many people come and go.
Some were once close but now act like strangers, leaving a pang of sadness.
Some leave behind small memories.
Some leave stories and moments that linger.Whether they leave first or we do,
we always regret losing someone from our lives.
Some we miss every day,
some bring a smile when we think of them. It’s not just you or me—
we all have someone we’ve lost along the way. -
Let Your Heart Breathe
Often, we feel tired—
tired from studying,
tired from working,
or exhausted from life’s problems. We grit our teeth and keep pushing forward,
thinking that when the weekend comes or we finally rest,
that fatigue will slowly fade away. But after resting,
why do we still feel tired?Perhaps the burden we carry isn’t just physical—
it’s our hearts.
So, our hearts need rest too,
a chance to breathe freely. If this book were anything,
it would be like a favorite song—
one that, no matter how many times you listen,
still touches your heart deeply. -
May My Thoughts of You Hold You Close
While someone
is an important part of our memories,
we may also be a cherished memory for someone else. While we try to forget someone,
we might simultaneously be forgotten by another. We are always remembered and forgotten,
yet in the end, no one can remember us completely—
and even we find it hard to forget someone entirely. What we can do is…
let those around us remember the good in who we are,
and create beautiful memories during the time we share. This book invites us to reflect on certain things,
some stories, some people we remember clearly,
and some parts that may have been lost along the way. -
May You Find the Sky You Love
This essay reflects on life during days when the sky is not clear. Certainly, every experience leaves behind valuable lessons. Readers are invited to reflect on their thoughts and emotions. More than healing, it helps deepen self-understanding.
There are moments in life when we must face change,
but it can be difficult—especially when encountering problems for the first time,
making decisions we never expected,
and planning a life path uncertain of how we will get through it. -
Memoirs of a Sudden Realization
Have you ever been thinking about something,
when suddenly a great idea pops into your mind?
Then another thought follows soon after.Sometimes, you find yourself drifting into memories of the past,
and often, those thoughts turn into memories of someone instead.Yet many times,
those good ideas come when we can’t capture or remember them,
and often we just let them slip away,
thinking they aren’t important enough.Until one day, someone shares what they’ve been thinking or recalling with us,
and what was once lost in memory
returns again. This book continues to remind us
of those moments of insight once again.Hopefully, some chapters, some sentences,
will help you recall something you once forgot, too. -
Memories Always Bring Us Back to Someone
Our story ended in reality,
yet it remains alive in memory. Her image stays in my heart all the time.
Though she never returns,
the memories remain vivid.Even if I have photographs
to prove what once was,
it doesn’t mean I still feel the same for him.I keep telling myself:
Please have a heart to love yourself,
even though he is no longer here today. -
No Matter How Good You Are
Though this book doesn’t care how skilled the author is,
and has journeyed through time for over a decade,
in many chapters, sentences, and examples from the author’s stories,
we find that the narratives remain unchanged, almost as if preserved in time.
The storylines are familiar and unaltered,
while the people featured in the book
have sometimes passed away or parted ways—much like the cycle of samsara. Some questions have been answered,
while many remain unresolved…
And this is why we invite you, the reader,
to pick up this book and “question”
the events that have persisted for over ten years,
and to explore them together once more. -
No Words of Comfort Can Instantly Stop the Sorrow
To all the humans who can smile, laugh, and cry—
the pain of feeling “unloved by others” can seem overwhelming,
but compared to the pain of “not loving yourself,”
this inner hurt is many times deeper. If you’re feeling sorrow now, no words of comfort in this world will instantly heal that pain.
Often, comforting words aren’t enough to erase sadness right away. What truly helps is giving yourself time—
to fully feel your emotions,
to learn from what’s happened,
and to allow yourself a break from grief,
so you can move forward stronger.Though sadness may not disappear immediately,
with time, it can fade for good.
Simply giving yourself time to heal
can guide you through it beautifully. 🙂 -
Not even NASA can bring you back
Sometimes someone doesn’t want to disappear—they just don’t want to come back.
This book, NASA Can’t Bring Her Back, is a collection drawn from my own life and the lives of those around me.
Because I believe many others have gone through similar stories, though each of our endings may differ.
Whenever someone comes to me for advice about love, I always tell them I’m no expert—I’ve failed at love myself. All I can do is listen and let them vent.
So now, are you ready to listen to their stories too?
