Born on December 15, 1959, in Yasothon, his eight years working on fishing boats greatly influenced his writing. He started as a short story writer, with his works like "Roi Bap" (The Stain of Sin) earning awards from notable magazines. His first novel, "Fang Saeng Chan" (The Moonlit Shore), highlights the lives of coastal villagers and was praised by Thailand's Ministry of Education. His autobiography, "Khian Fan Duai Chiwit" (Writing Dreams with Life), won a prestigious award at the National Book Fair. Prachakhom continues to be a key figure in Thai literature, reflecting society through his compelling stories.
