You and You Only

Repeated disappointments in love feel like an endless loop of heartbreak. They make me question myself—what have I done wrong? Where did I go wrong, and why is my love life like this? Yet, he tells me it’s because I’ve been with the wrong people. Though he says it to comfort me or for some other reason, I find myself wanting to change, to live by his example. All the while, I never truly knew that before he reached this point, he had endured pain far greater than I could ever imagine.
