Purgatorio

Author:

This is a world caught between life and death, following the outbreak of a parasitic virus that directly attacks the human nervous system and brain.

All infected victims rise with strange behavior, growling like wild beasts,
their eyes clouded white like filthy water,
attacking anyone in front of them—even family members.

Prin, an 18-year-old teenage girl, struggles to survive among the infected in her apartment.
But it’s like jumping from the frying pan into the fire as the city she once knew is filled with corpses feeding on the living in broad daylight.

Fortunately, Prin is saved by Kanjanicha, a second-year nursing student, who is searching for safety with her father.

As days pass, humanity fails to control the outbreak,
forcing survivors to live in a world overrun by dead bodies.

Amidst this, as people lose their humanity and fight for survival each day with only faint hope,
they find that confronting fellow humans can be far worse than death itself.
