“Young Master,”

Piwa frowned even more when the other person called him by a name no one had used in a long time. The sparkling eyes, indicating joy, only added to his confusion. Before he could ask anything, the stranger quickly hugged him. The soft body in the oversized t-shirt and trousers confirmed that she was a woman

… a full-fledged woman at that.

“You… you really came! Rak knew you would come back!” Raknara hugged the tall man tightly, completely forgetting that he was a man, as she was in her blossoming youth. Because of his height, her head rested perfectly on his broad chest.
Piwa, still bewildered, stood still like a statue. He had been away from this farm for a long time, but he wasn’t so forgetful that he couldn’t recognize anyone. He was 100% certain that he had never met anyone with that face before.

“I’m sorry,” Piwa struggled to push the small figure away from his tight embrace, examining the woman’s face again to make sure, but it didn’t help him remember anything. “How do we know each other?”

Raknara paused when the other person didn’t recognize her. For a moment, an uncontrollable resentment arose, but ultimately, she slowly… Her resentment finally subsided.

Thirteen years ago, she was nine years old, chubby, with a bob haircut that reached just above her earlobes. She then and now were so different that even staring at her for an hour might not recognize her.

“Whether you know me or not doesn’t matter, sir. You’re back here… that’s what matters.” Raknara spoke the latter part more to herself, her voice so soft that the other person frowned.

“What did you say?”

“You,” Raknara said, her voice slightly drawn out, her large, round eyes sparkling. Piwan waited silently, as if hypnotized. “Welcome home.”
