Beau is Non-Binary of Everything

I think humans are strange. They live as if they must prepare their coffins for tomorrow. A cat like me will surely die before them, perhaps in a few years, or maybe even less than one. And yet, I still run across the fields whenever I feel like running. Humans, on the other hand, even when they long to run across the fields, keep telling themselves, No, I can’t. If I go out running, I won’t have time to prepare my coffin. Will I finish cutting the wood, painting it, hammering in the nails? And what about the flowers beside it, will they bloom in time?

Hah. That is why they only have one life. If they had nine lives like I do, and had to prepare nine coffins, just thinking about it sounds exhausting, does it not?

This is the story of Kwon Cho, woven together by me, a black winged angel.

Men and women, humans delight in inventing definitions to divide things. And in every era, every moment, there are always those who fall outside, who slip beyond the boundaries of such definitions.

Humans build fences, create frames far too narrow for their own kind, when in truth, those frames are not necessary at all. At least, that is what I believe.

“An… an angel?”
