A collection of nine short stories and illustrations, interpreted by both writer and artist:
a young woman who longs to preserve her lover’s body forever,
the relationship between one who embodies femininity and one who fears and despises women,
an inventor determined to create free will,
a mermaid in a glass tank and a girl who pretends she cannot hear the mermaid’s call.

in part, the writer writes stories for the artist to draw,
in part, the artist creates images for the writer to write from.
Interpretation is not something shared between writer and artist.
And so it is with readers as well each person’s interpretation exists entirely on its own.”
