‘Lady Sam’ or ‘Khun Sam’— A woman blessed with beauty, wealth, and intelligence. She’s the woman who inspired me to grow and become someone like her. I even applied to work at the same place, just to be close to her. Maybe it was the wide, wrinkled smile she had when we were kids that planted a love inside me, a love I never thought possible— that a woman could fall in love with another woman.
