The Butterfly Collector
The Butterfly Collector, or Cew, also known as Betty by friends, is a writer and illustrator who prefers to call herself a writer who loves writing and an illustrator who loves drawing. Born in October, during the autumn, Cew loves the number 22, the winter season, and the peacefulness of whales. A quiet and sensitive soul, she enjoys running in the snow, reading, watching romantic movies, and spending time with dogs. 🐕
Her first book, Once Upon a Time... To You, reflects her love for sharing happiness through stories. Cew also runs two Instagram accounts: mondaemoods for her writing and peacearehappiness for her art.

Once Upon a Time… To You
Once Upon a Time… To You will make you think of someone—
someone who may have been part of a love story long past,
or someone who stands beside you right now.
Within this book lies a seed of a nameless flower,
waiting for the reader to decide what kind of blossom it will become.
By the time you reach the last sentence,
a beautiful flower will bloom anew in this world—
blooming in its own direction,
nurtured by life, creativity, love, faith, and endless hope.
It blooms through the sediment of every letter,
recording all the beautiful moments in the heart.
No matter how much time passes,
millions of feelings once shared with you, with them,
and with every memory,
will return to make you smile again.
These words will never die. They will bloom forever,
carried by love, attachment, longing,
the joy of youth, the sorrow of times gone by,
and hopes that may never come true—
yet still embraced and cherished deep within the heart.

To the Beautiful Heart That Was Forgotten
To you…
the keeper of a beautiful heart, long forgotten.
It’s okay if today you still grieve over certain actions.
It’s okay if you cannot forgive yourself just yet.
It’s okay if your heart still holds on to its wounds all the time.
If one day you grow strong enough to leave everything behind,
don’t forget to comfort and forgive yourself too.
“You’ve been so brave through everything you’ve endured.”
We may have felt like we were sinking into a cold, deep ocean,
alone, as if people and the world have abandoned us.
No matter how deep we dive into the ocean,
if we still see the light of our own worth,
our soul and self will remain.
Because true love from just one person
is enough to keep our heart beating,
ready to swim and rise above the waves once more.
If “Once Upon a Time… To You” is like a seed destined to bloom and last forever,
then this book is the pollen of those flowers,
ready to soar and bloom wherever they choose.
And we will come to know that… even in the cold, dark depths,
whether just a flower growing by the wayside or anywhere else,
“We are always beautiful and loved somewhere.”
