Noah exhaled sharply.
He stomped upstairs, opening the doors one by one until he found what he assumed was the bedroom of the woman on his shoulder. His ears were ringing from the loud cursing and shouting of Muslin. He walked to the small bedside table and pulled out a drawer. He smiled with satisfaction when he saw her passport. Noah slipped it into his pants pocket and carried Muslin out of the room, but the wicked woman grabbed the doorframe and resisted with all her might.
“Let go, Muslin!”
“No, you…”
The wicked goblin shrieked at him again. Noah took a deep breath.
Melissa’s daughter, besides her mother’s resemblance, had inherited nothing else! Such
poor upbringing! His dark eyebrows furrowed as he tried to leave, but the woman on his shoulder held on tightly, her voice echoing through the house. Noah lost his patience. He slapped her buttocks hard under her jeans.
*Slap!
* “!!!”
It worked. The small figure on his shoulder flinched, and her cursing immediately ceased. A
satisfied smile spread across his lips beneath his thick beard. This was it… the way to deal with a brat. A painful spanking was necessary. The tall, wealthy man smirked. Now he could finally leave this town.
But before he could take another step, Noah’s eyes widened, and he cried out in shock and pain.
“Ouch!”
The little girl on his shoulder, who had flinched at the light punishment,
wasn’t defeated as he thought. She tensed up, grabbed his long hair, tied in a bun at the nape of his neck, and yanked it with all her might, making his head snap back. As he cried out from the forceful tug, Muslin bit his ear. Her small, sharp teeth dug into his ear with full force!
“Shit!”
Noah yelled.
