Submission Guidelines for Authors:

Pitching to International Publishers and Literary Agencies

At Amarin Literary Agency, we are committed to discovering and promoting the finest literary talent from Thailand to the global stage. If you’re an author looking to submit your work for potential representation or to pitch to international publishers and literary agencies, please follow the guidelines below to ensure your submission is considered.

1. Manuscript Requirements:
Format: All submissions must be typed in a standard font in .doc file.
Manuscript: Please submit the full manuscript, and a concise sample that best represents your work.
Language: We are pleased to accept the manuscript in Thai. However, if you have a manuscript in English, it would be favorable for international consideration.

2. Cover Letter:
Your cover letter should be brief (1-2 paragraphs), introducing yourself and your work.
Please include:
A short bio, including your writing background and any previous publications or achievements.
A brief description of your manuscript, including the genre, target audience, and unique elements of your story. Why you believe your work would appeal to international publishers and readers.

3. Synopsis:
Provide a one-page synopsis of your manuscript that clearly outlines the main plot, characters, and themes.
The synopsis should be engaging, concise, and provide an overview of the story without revealing too many spoilers.

4. Author Platform (Optional, but Recommended):
Include any relevant information about your online presence (e.g., website, social media, blog, or other platforms) where you engage with readers or showcase your work.
If you have any prior publishing credits, please mention them here.

5. Submission Process:
All submissions must be sent via email to rightsagency@amarin.co.th with the subject line: “Submission for International Representation – [Your Manuscript Title].”
Attach your cover letter, manuscript file, and synopsis. Please ensure that the file names are clear (e.g., “Cover Letter_Your Name” and “Manuscript__Your Name”).

6. Response Me:
We aim to respond to all submissions within 4-6 weeks. Due to the volume of submissions, we may not be able to provide feedback on individual manuscripts.
If we are interested in moving forward, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.

7. Rights and Representation:
By submitting your work, you confirm that you are the original author and hold the full rights to the manuscript. We will only represent works that are free from any legal encumbrances.

8. What’s We’re Looking For:
While we accept submissions across all genres (literary fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, etc.), we are especially keen on narratives with universal appeal, compelling characters, and engaging plots.
We are open to both debut authors and established writers seeking international representation.

We look forward to reading your work and considering it for representation and international pitching. Thank you for trusting Amarin Literary Agency to help bring your literary vision to a global audience.

Best of luck, and happy writing!
